A big change about to be announced and Mr In The Know isn't on here letting everybody know that they know in advance.. Maybe the Mole has been found??

What are fans thoughts on Robbie and Kevin taken us forward? I just hope they get more vocal during games, opposition coaches are far more out spoken. It will be great to get back watching.

I am ok with it and wish the new team all the best. Good luck to Leigh also. Can’t wait to get back watching some football as soon as possible. UTM

FWIW I think it’s been handled very well by all I’m still in shock to be honest but makes sense if Leigh can’t commit.People always belittle us it just shows that we are an attractive proposition to a degree to have Kevin Hodges as assistant Plymouth legend also managed them and Torquay and if memory serves me right Steve Thompson’s assistant at Yeovil? For those who I speak to I was always intrigued the dynamic between Leigh and Robbie having both gone for the job one would assume they share the same philosophy on the game to a degree. I’m pleased with Brian joining giving that link to the u23s with Oaks a clear pathway for all can see. I don’t think Leigh Robinson will get the credit for the job he’s actually done. I’m aware his win ratio isn’t great. However think back to what he inherited an over inflated squad with a real lack of senior players, a lack of direction and lack of ability low on morale and a key player on a 7 game ban. He didn’t mince his words always told us straight and went to work straight away ripping up the squad always a hard task over half way in and a side rooted to the bottom. We were going down before the season was halted make no mistake but won the game prior and there were signs it was better. There were some tough times Hayes & Yeading was by far the worst Dorch performance I’ve ever seen in the 20 odd years. It’s not been a great start but lots of upheaval all out of his control to a degree and we always seemed to react after a really bad display. I’m not saying he’s done a superb job but we are 100% better for having had Leigh as manager.

I agree with previous post, Leigh was liked by the players, as is Robbie, weather or not they had 100% same views on best team best formation etc ultimately it was down to Leigh final decision now the buck stops with Robbie I think we will see different formation with him to get more out some players “best” positions, time will tell but I genuinely believe we are a better side than our position says. Good luck to Robbie and Kev let’s give them some slack and see where it gets us.

Kept it relatively private until the announcement, avoiding any rumours or hearsay, swiftly promoted Robbie into the managers role which I think is a fair appointment. He's overseen the work that Leigh has done so wont need to destabilize personnel too much like when a new manager comes in. The results weren't great for Leigh so haven't seen too much disappointment on that front but like Cherry says, he had to rebuild an absolute mess and began to build a foundation that Robbie can now build on. Good luck Robbie, Kevin and Brian whenever you'll be able to get to resume the work!

Be interesting to see what player movement there is when we start back. Robbo seemed to infer in his quotes that the budget will be the biggest it’s been since he came in once we start back and given a few left not long before we stopped presumably that means there’s a bit to play with.
I’ve only seen the Taunton game but if we could keep that Olaf from Torquay a bit longer I think he’d be really good for us, hopefully we can add 1/2 more decent players and then I think we can be competitive and hopefully rise up a few places.
