Ok here comes my 2-penneths worth; they deserved it. They were bigger, stronger & generally better. They executed the basics well, moved the ball around & cleared their lines effectively. Oh & guess what they had a focal point up top! We had none of this!!!
Another point, I've gone on for ages that I felt we don't really have a leader on the pitch. Their captain at every opportunity was in the refs ear & driving the team on, even bagging himself a goal.
If we'd of lost today but I could stand and applaud the team off I'd of been 'happy'. Sadly I couldn't, Luke Winsper was the only player who looked like he was putting a shift in.
In conclusion, disappointed.

easy comment DT1, yet you have failed to say who you wish to replace him with?

Utterly outclassed and outplayed today. It's even stranger as I can't really think of a player I thought played awfully, just a whole lot of average performances and no shape. No idea what Laird's game plan was today, or even if we had one.
On another note, did anyone see Blair's "stamp"? From what I saw there was no contact what so ever but I might have missed something?

I didn't think he made contact, although the intent was there. He does need to sort his head out, teams will target him, learn it now and he will improve as a player.
Thought Winsper was our standout player, his workrate, touch, tackling, link up play and distribution were all spot on, if only we have eleven Luke Winspers on the pitch.
As always we lacked organisation, players didn't seem to know where they were playing or what their roles were.

Oh I don't disagree what that at all, he needs to learn to calm down sometimes. Too many silly bookings that could cost us

Is it a three match ban and will he miss the important FA Cup match?

The Weymouth player when on the floor grabbed Blair's foot Blair tried to get his foot free he shook his foot and then I think tried to get him to let go by using his hand (typical Scummer making a meal out of nothing) .... the linesman said he didn't think it was a sending off as he didn't see any stamping as there wasn't any to see the ref fucked up a yellow at worse .... someone did say that they thought Blair may have gobbed off at the ref

Not a red card in a million years. Ref sent him off for a stamp whilst Wells was on the floor. Clearly Wells grabbed Blair's foot and Tom just pulled it away.

Ashley Wells is a cheat. I've seen him dive/fake injury a number of times against us. Disgusting, hope the club appeal the ban & demand an apology. Don't worry I'm realistic enough to know we won't get one.

Shameful play-acting from Ashley Wells. I'd be really embarrassed if I was a Weymouth fan to know that I was supporting a team that resorted to such blatant cheating..

Great comment on the Mutants forum about the red card: "Think everyone is getting a bit confused about this stamp. The red card was for the blatant stamp on the back of Ash's ankle after the ball had gone from play - studs into his Achilles, straight red no questions. There was no stamp after this phase of play only the one that sends Ash tumbling."....Conveniently ignores the fact that the ref didn’t blow his whistle at the initial foul and only did so once Wells had grabbed Tom’s foot b) the linesman, only a few feet away and looking directly at the incident didn’t raise his flag at the initial foul.
Clearly the ref saw Tom's shaking free of Well's grab as a stamp - to suggest otherwise is frankly ridiculous. FWIW, it's clever (albeit cynical) play from Wells. He obviously is aware of Tom's short fuse and bought his team a big advantage. I'd be applauding if (whilst acknowledging the cheek of it) if it were one of ours. Fair play to him.

I thought Kyle did alright.
I would be surprised if DPD went anywhere, if he does then it is good business to sign a players on a free and sell him a couple on months later.
