If this result was a one-off, then maybe we could wait before making changes - but it isn't.
Please - enough of this crap is enough.

Going out on a limb here but I say give the manager, team and officials another month, unless of course you live in that blinkered state within a alternative universe and thought looking at our set up from top to bottom was gonna be a automatic playoff position or even more sadly, think Dorchester fc should deserve promotion just because we were great once.
Anyhow, so far this season we have played two of the top teams and a couple of mediocre sides and we won against a team nearer our playing level, the coming month we are up against a couple of teams below us in the league(at time of writing) and a couple of teams, again, near our level, so hence my thinking.
If we are still being hammered by the end of September, then by all means heads should start rolling, until then, I am sticking with the set up, plus this season we have the extra benefit of only one team being relegated, so let's not panic just yet
And if you think today's result is hurtful, please spare some sympathy for old me as when I go back to work I have to be on a train with the muffscum chairman 😱

Tom, out of interest what have you seen in the games we've played to give you any optimism that they'll turn it round? If I'd of witness a performance with promise then ok I'd be with you but I'm, sadly, thinking if we don't see a dominate performance at Portchester then it's see you later Mr Laird

Iron, I have not said things will change around, it's just that against Basingstoke we won, a side closer to our own team as in levels of football skills and on that theory, I am hoping the lads obtain wins next month.
Only seen us so far this season once, not put on here what I felt about the match, as I still feel it is really unfair for me to judge any individual player, as no matter what game they may of played, that player is still 1000 times better at the game than I could ever of wished I could of achieved, yet, my thoughts on management and directors of the club, are as far as I am concerned, open for comments and as said, will wait until the end of September, before anymore thoughts.
In the meantime
UTM 😀

Tom. Tbf this clown in charge is playing players out of position. His son over a league loanee. He also wants an extra £500 a week for two strikers yet he knew the budget and has signed all of this squad yet no cover for a striker. The clown needs to walk or be sacked. This is harsh but most players are non contract so if we need strikers then bin half the midfield players we have to free up budget. But then what the heck do i know about football.

I thought some of the abuse Craig got today was too much, no need to be horrible to the man.
That said, I think we need to clear out th entire coaching team and start from fresh.

I have to agree with Steven that I thought some of the abuse Craig got was too much yesterday. At the end of the day he is trying to manage the team and probably doesn't earn a huge amount for the time he has to put into the job.
I listened to what Craig had to say at the CBS meetings and he came across really well, very knowledgeable about football and wanting to instill a philosophy to the club. Which makes it worse in that it just doesn't seem to be working for him at the Club. Is it because the tactics employed aren't working, is it because players are being played out of position or is it where we have lots of new players getting used to playing with each other? I would say that it is a combination of all of these things.
Moving forward I am really not sure what the club should do, it doesn't seem to be working for Craig so a maybe parting of the ways might be sensible for both parties. Who do the club bring in to replace Craig? Or does the club give Craig a bit more time to allow the players to bed in? I really don't know.

In Craig's own words, we have a mid-table budget. 3 points out of 15 and a -12 GD is unacceptable, and is beyond the excuse of "the players need to bed down". Plenty of sides have had huge changes in players in preseason, who are now performing well.
Some of the more personal abuse of Laird was too much, but calling for him to go is very reasonable because it does seem to be his tactics letting us down rather than our players.
