Surely a cracking signing..
It will certainly get us interested in the New Zealand vs Peru play off next month for a world cup slot.
Was undecided about driving down tonight. Think I will do now..
See you there if you're going..

Would be great if we had him for the rest of the season or will he hang up his boots if NZ don't qualify. Also wondering what kind of contract (or terms) he is on with us. Will we qualify for FIFA compensation payments paid to clubs releasing players for World Cup international duty?

Certainly would love to see a fully fit Rory Fallon stay till the end of the season would be great for the younger forward players to listen, watch and learn from both him and of course Trevor 2 very good forwards would not be too bad at this club, but just got a niggling feeling that Rory only came to us to try to get into the NZ Squad for one last chance to play at a World Cup (who would not ) and if the Kiwi's don't qualify perhaps he will hang up his boots as he now seems to be getting injured a lot, both of the games he has started for us has resulted in him missing the next games. Never know he may fancy one last go in Non league to finish his career at the end of this season, while perhaps going through the Coaching Badge system. No doubt all will come clear very soon. As Sean says we could do with someone like him in the squad to help the youngsters.

And now he’s retired. That was short and sweet.

And now he’s retired. That was short and sweet. Fallon on his sword, so to speak. Unfortunate that his career ended on a bit of a low, but, with his business interest, he has to look at life after football. There always comes a tipping point, in any career, when you say, it's time to move on. I wish him well for the future.
