Very similar game to last weeks in that we were second best for much of the first half. Credit to the manager and the team who manage now to stay in games when we are under pressure. From thinking we will take 0-0 at half time to if Phil takes the gilt edge chance thinking we could be 2-0 up in a couple of minutes. Just like last week we come out much better in the second half but, then with 10 minutes to go we manage to get caught 2 against 2 at the back from our corner. As said before there is a lot more spirit in this side now and Tom Blair does what we all want him to do and skins the full back for Lanners ( Who worked his nuts off ) to get a late late winner. It shows what can be done with hard work and plenty of spirit. Got a really tough tough game next week but, confident the lads will not lack for effort and give it a good go. COYM

Nope but, we will not lack for effort, spirit and organisation now which was sadly lacking under the previous manager. We ain't kidding ourselves and we have some tough games coming up but, its just nice to see some improvement.

I could get used to this feeling on a Sunday! How many times in recent years have we lost games like that? It wasent a game for the purists but in the record books it goes down as 3 points it doesn't mention how we played. Good sides grind out results.
As wingnut alluded to in an earlier post you get that from being organised good structure and to coin an overused phase of mine do the basics well.
Onto next week let's keep this run going and a cup run would be nice.
