Come on lads, lets not get back into the losing habit. We have a very difficult game on Saturday against the league leaders, lose that and it's 3 defeats on the spin. I'm aware things have generally improved since Thompson's come in but lets not waste the hard work in that time. Though before we were out of games early, we've developed a habit of conceding lots of goals in the final 15 minutes, even in games we've won against Basingstoke and Gosport so clearly fitness is a major issue combined with a chunk of this squad not good enough for the level required. Let's try and rebuild some momentum eh.

Given the late goals we are conceding it does seem fitness is an issue, something the manager highlighted when he first came in. He plays a pressing game that requires very high levels of fitness.
Tough game on Saturday.

Sort of agree but, there are a lot of problems that will just not go away with a change of manager it will take time. Frome should be an example to us on how they get every last bit out of their resources. They have a hard working team with a very good centre forward and big strong athletic centre half's . They play a very simple but, effective way. As I said the problems will take time to change. We have a centre half who turns slower than a cruise liner ( Yet we play a high line ) . We need at least 10 good chances to score 1 . The people who were getting booked for stupid things are still getting booked for the stupid things. All of those things we did again last night ( Doooooooooohhhhhhhh) . They did not and therefore won the game. I have faith in the manager but, there are still plenty of changes ahead. Fitness is just one of them and I think we all agree our pre season was about as much use as a fart in a spacesuit so we are now playing catch up. Onto Kettering .
