Rumours going around Merthyr are on the verge of folding, hope they can survive as I’ve enjoyed our home games against them, a great group of supporters. Anyone been to their ground? I’ve heard it is decent and a ground I wanted to visit.
If they do fold then I guess there is no relegation spot this season?

Went to their ground last season, it's a bit dated but still a great stadium and the new club house looks good too.
Heard they have had a budget cut of 70% and all of their players have walked.
Very much hope they stay afloat, wouldn't wish this on any set of fans.

Really surprised this is true as believed it to be one of the better run fan owned clubs. If true hopefully they can get through the season always fans who get dumped on. Always found their supporters very good natured and a great bunch, remember we are there a week on saturday. What with Gosport and Dunstable both in big trouble since the start of the season now allegedly Merthyr will all clubs in this league finish the season or will we see some go.

From some of their players Twitter accounts it seems the budget has been slashed, really hope they survive, great bunch of supporters and a good non league ground.
The standard in this division keeps improving, with some teams seemingly gambling on promotion I wouldn't be surprised if there are more teams in Merthyr's position.

I wish them well & hope they can resurrect the club in some way. A time for no silly niggly comments about fellow clubs in our league, or any other. Simply a time to hope & wish they recover and become again, competitive members of our league. Good Luck Merthyr.
