Great to see I assume some fight from the lads today after a disappointing few games. Well done all!

ha,this post might make me look like a fool(what's new) -
as a) tad few dinkies & b) posting before sams highlights.
I went to my first match this season totally expecting the lads to be ran over by a so so side as I have read on here that the the team lacks constructive shouts from the dug out as well as the manager failing to be a positive influence ?
Happy to say this was not the game I witness today-
Dorchester went down to a early goal but after that, sitting on my own at the side of our attacking end, I thought the team never dropped heads and went on to press Chesham, and in my view, the ref missed deff pen for us when Nath was clearly held by a defender, but then again this ref never once gave a foul for any player being dragged down on corners, maybe this new ruling does not apply in our league? Within those first 45 mins the team really should of netted two clear chances, yet again, those opportunities would never of happened if the lads gave up at one down
Both pens were correct with the aside that Chesham pen should of seen our lad being sent off, yet as today's ref was poor in all aspects of the game I think this side of the game even it's way out.
Our second goal was a right "drubber" as ant discribe it yet as Joey says, it was about time this season luck was on our side( please guys, get involved with this forum)
Atmosphere was good, even if at a low point of the game I managed to count just 220 fans
Going back to a main concern of fans that post on here, in the lack of directions given by the dugout, not what I saw today, second half, when allowed, I watched the game from the wall by the bar, Critts and the rest seem to me to be shouting instructions all the time and Jems as player manager was telling the team where to positioned themselves as the game progressed, so confused on this aspect of moans regarding the squad when reading complaints on here?
Well deserved win today lads, keep up the good work and maybe, as mentioned in the bar afterwards, win a few more games and we will be in the playoffs :-;

After being (justifiably) critical of our team a couple of weeks ago, it is now extremely pleasing to be able to write something complementary now. Our upturn in form is surely related to the return of Franklyn Clarke who always seems to be in space and to pass crisply and accurately. His link play with Ollie Bassett was excellent yesterday. With Franklyn, the team played superbly in the first half against Basingstoke and, even though we couldn't sustain it in the second half, we were distinctly unlucky to lose (especially by 3-0). Yesterday we kept up our good form throughout the match and were deserved winners of a very entertaining game.
In addition to Clarke and Bassett, Oldring kept up his superb form of this season and was well supported by Dillon. It was also good to see Neil Martin do so well at fullback, Lewis Morgan getting better and better as his match fitness returns and the solid, goal-scoring performances from Jake Smeeton. A further bonus was to see Ben Wood back on the pitch and playing well in his normal attacking position. He would be in my starting XI every time, despite the promise of Tom Blair whose time will surely come and whose presence and pace will be an asset on the bench.
On the debit side it is sad to see Mark Jermyn now so lacking in pace that he is susceptible to making unintentionally late tackles (for example the penalty he conceded) where once his timing was superb. Even more worrying is the dodgy spell that Murphy is going through in goal. He is a better keeper than recent form suggests but keeping errors are usually costly. At present I think we need better, more experienced cover for him than we've got.
