Given the amount of games we have played compared to the competition down at the bottom (Weymouth have played 6 games less than us!) this was a vital win. Well done lads.

It certainly was a cold one last night!
We laboured to our victory last night. We started brightly with Tom Blair causing a nuisance down the left and Ollie on the right drifting in field and spraying passes. We won a penalty, which poor Smeets missed (really felt for him as that's two misses in two games). Cinderford grew in confidence after that and for much of the game there wasn't much between the two sides.
Second half Nathan went up front with Ben Wood with Oldring dropping back into Midfield and Lewis Morgan replacing David Jerrard. The team looked much more balanced and Nathan scored to go one up. It needed Matt Oldring's goal to kill the game off though.
A bright moment was when Sol came on and did a great turn and played a lovely ball though to attack. Ollie Bassett had another good game as did Matt Oldring. Matt seems to have found real consistency this season as he has been one of our best players at the back.
Shane had a few dodgy moments but it can't be easy playing behind a defence that changes frequently.
3 vital points and hopefully that can be a turning point in the season.

Phew! Last night was a tough game anything other than a victory and it would have been a disaster.
Credit last night the players kept at it when we didn't get the early break through and the missed pen moral could have dropped but we kept going and going and bar a scary moment or two at 0.0 we were in control throughout I felt.
I do feel and have felt for a period of time we look better with Nathen Walker at the back for his sheer vocal precense he's a talker will drag people where they need to be. He will stick his head / body you name it in front of the ball. Whilst we were in control the few scary moments were long aimless balls once he had gone up front something we have struggled with all season. Oldering was decent in front of the back 4 and had his best game in a while and from what I heard he was good in the defeat to Kettring at the weekend. Anybody who knows me knows how much I love a clean sheet I hark back if you don't concede you cannot lose. Going back through history all good sides are build on solid foundations. Winning football is good football there is nothing glorious in losing 6.5 it's losing football we as a football club have lost far too many matches hence we are fighting relegation in the SLP it's a downward spiral for 4 years since that day in November 4 years ago..😀
onto Saturday let's try and build some momentum and end the year on a high as 2016 is a year to forget for this club the record makes for scary reading believe me. We are not on target as what Jem / board aim for. We as fans have got to demand more whilst being realistic and maybe just one day we can celebrate successful season like the one 4 years ago.
