How ironic that in my "mansroom" I have a match day poster of Dorchester v Sutton from Dec 2013, never thought that would come back to haunt me one day

Tom. It's the way football is going now. Most teams now only want to get into the Premier League then stay there for the money. The owners (mostly overseas) see the world wide appeal of the premier commercially and want to get the money, they don't care about the supporters of the clubs as long as the money keeps pouring in. The only way the true fans could ever do anything about it is mass boycotts of grounds so the cameras show empty grounds but of course that will never happen as if the true supporters boycott then the clubs know that they can still fill (at least look alot in) with people willing to go and watch just to see their team. Perhaps if the FA grew a pair and enforced a law saying for cup games they have start 6/7 players who started the last game stopping wholesale changes FIFA did it for number of subs per game in friendlies. Feel for you Tom and all supporters who have had the chance of a cup final took away by managers too frightened to stand up for the clubs traditions even most players I bet would want to be given the chance to progress to the famous final as not that many players really get the chance in their careers. Trouble is money now is starting to creep down through non league pyrimid and of course we are seeing it even in our league and of course for whatever reasons we are becoming one of this league's smaller clubs and we have to get used to it as no money man is coming in with a bottomless amount of money meaning the only way the club can keep going is by the community co-owners way whether we agree with it or not. Just don't know why the community won't get behind the club.
