Fantastic defensive display in the second half. Yes there were a couple of wobbles but in whole the back 5 did well. Plus why have we not played Ollie Bassett through the middle more often? Drive home very happy today.

That second goal is quality. Bassett's accurate through ball and that Mehew first touch and finish. Sublime.

We really need to keep hold of Olly Mehew for as long as we can. I saw enough of his intelligent runs against Leamington to see that he's absolute quality. He's the 20 goal a season chap we've not had for a long time.

He's the 20 goal a season chap we've not had for a long time. Sean We did have a young 20 goal striker last season, who was finding his feet and showing excellent signs of potential. Toby Holmes. Who we stupidly released in the summer because we weren't willing to pay the lad £75 a week wages. He's now at Wimborne banging them in for fun. 25 league goals so far.

Also thought Lewis Powell did well as well. just having a outright striker up front made us look more attacking even if both Lewis and Ollie are both really young and relatively inexperienced. It was good to see both of them getting into attacking positions and using speed, nothing against Nathan who has proved he can score goals but we have not had anybody who naturally makes those runs for the ball to be played in. Just hope we can keep them both until the end of the season and i think we will get the goals to keep us up even taking the pressure off the defence abit. maybe even be able to sign them next season if we can impress them now, as a lot of loanees find the club friendly more like a family run club unlike a lot of clubs they get farmed out too.
Anyone know what the injury is to Gary Bowles, i had thought he was possibly struggling with the speed of the game a little till his injury but then again coming up 2 leagues or so is understandable for a couple of games. Typical we get a central defender in to replace the injured Chris Dillon only to be injured.
Overall i thought we looked more balanced all round although i wonder why Jordan is not played behind Neil as Neil seems to be able to cross the ball better. Shane although again rocky in places did a couple of decent saves to hopefully give him some confidence.
