The second manager from Dorset this season to 'stand down' after a game at the Avenue- copycat.... Seems like footie in Dorset is undergoing big changes since Xmas First Jem,Critts, Smeets leave us when the budget was cut then Wimborne announce they have lost their big sponsor and are £50K short in their budget .Gillingham withdraw from the Western League to go back into the Dorset Premier. Now Mr Pugsley and Matthews leaving Weymouth Whatever next.

Wonder who'll become the manager there now? Steve Tully instantly sprung to my mind. He was at a few games around the xmas period when Jase was under a bit of pressure I think.

sorry but who fukin cares This. I am genuinely intrested myself as I am on all levels of football plus it has some relevance as it's a former player and a club at our level. People moan the forum is dead yet moan when a topic comes up. Il leave you all to post on a dead forum. UTM

It's not without possibility that people will be applying for the vacant role who are either currently employed by the Magpies or quite recently were! And as you rightly point out, Jason was our keeper when we had that brilliant TV moment - the first (and let's hope not last) in our history...

I think it is very relevant, the Weymouth manager will always have an impact on DTFC, especially where players are concerned.
If we hadn't appointed Craig he would surely have been a frontrunner.
With Pugsley leaving you would assume he will withdraw his funding and the budget will be cut.
The Pugsley returning to Dorchester rumours seem to be gathering pace, I wonder if he will be at any of our games before the season ends? I doubt he would get Jason to manage us though (he may be a nice bloke but he has failed at Weymouth). Could he still do a job for us as a player though, surely can't be worse than Shane this season?
