Looks like a very strong league next season, can't really pick out a "bad" side. If we play like we did last season we'll go down for sure. Hopefully Laird gets his guys in, implements his style and we get an absolute minimum of top half.

Well if that is how the league table finishes by the end of next season then I for one will be a very happy magpie I'd be gutted missing out on the play offs by 1 position😂. Coming into our 4th year at this level. Year on-year it's got a tougher League and the list of clubs expecting promotion / top half finishes increases too.

Gotta love our fans sometimes. We moan that we're in a league with too many village tinpot sides. When we have some proper non-league clubs and names joining us in our league... we moan. Give me games against Hereford, Farnborough and Tivvy any day over the likes of Aresley, Hungerford, Cinderford etc who brought little to no away fans to the Avenue. It's proven in this league that just because certain clubs get bigger gates, doesn't automatically mean they'll get promotion. We all want to get back into the Conference South eventually, so as a club we shouldn't be seeing others in this league as a threat. I'm fairly confident that we'll be strong enough to not take that infamous bottom position next season ( ) so the new league structure in 2018/19 should be very interesting!

Agree with Dayvan here. Good in my view we have Hereford,Tivvy,Farnborough in our league. Its a pity Leamington won the play off instead of Hitchin as you could normally count the number of Hitchin away fans on one hand whereas Leamington were always well supported away meaning more away fans through the gate is more of a bonus in extra gate money which i would hope would go towards the playing budget. It seems there are more and more clubs we used to play over the years coming into this league now with possibly next season becoming more regionalized so it should help with getting more away fans in through the gate. Pretty sure we will be ok and not finish bottom so there should be interesting times ahead in the new league structure if they get it right this time as Dorch/Weymouth to Cambridge,St Neots, Kettering, etc and return fixtures is plainly not financially sensible when we could travel to Havant & Waterlooville, or west london clubs instead so saving hours of travel time/fuel over the season.
