Wimborne have become a more attractive proposition than DTFC which just sums up how low we've fallen as a club.

I don't think it's much of a secret that Jem and Heathy didn't particularly rate Lanners - so its no surprise we haven't signed him. Out of all the players who left us over the summer the most disappointed in who we let go was Toby Holmes, to Wimborne. Unlike the likes of Davis, Tarbuck, Clarke etc who signed for clubs who clearly can offer more in terms of wages than we can, Holmes wasn't marquee player on big wages, but was a player I felt Jem brought in to adapt for this season but ended up going to a team in a lower league and now seems to be scoring for fun there. Luke Holmes was also a very talented player who we let go to a lower league club, but can understand his reasons given who's the manager of Wimborne. We could well be swapping leagues with them next season the way ambitions of respective clubs seem to be heading, and thus the 4th highest ranked team in the county.

Sat in the mess room at Bournemouth last week and listening to Poole fans, they are not worried about the debt, they think the trivial amount needed will be found ( well don't rely on Eddie) yet they were perplexed that Wimborne had a bigger player budget already at this time of the season.
Not offering any answers to the situation as to why this player or that player might not join or are leaving Dorchester for the likes of Wimborne, yet me thinks money is the issue, nowt to do with how big some fans think their club is or was.
