Sorry but although I know this is the "unofficial" fans site, I find it hard to understand that a thread has not been created for today's match? Being boring I guess yet not everyone in this life belong to twitter/fb etc and some old relics like me actually look upon this forum on match days for the latest news & if sam reads this post later, trust me, even if it's just this old sad fart, I at least appreciate your postings of team news. So please guys, let's try at best to give the some of us that cannot get to a match for whatever reason, some match day news, otherwise it really does look as though nobody gives a toss about the team, which would be sad. Rant over, I think we are winning, will now txt a few mates to confirm this and post in a sec yippi we are 2-0 up if only I had a Mon-Fri job then even I could attend the ave......

Thought we were doing ok then Barnstaple started to get back into the game and when they got their goal to give them a further push you could sense the feeling in the ground change, pretty sure in the past we may well then have conceded another but we are starting to show we can dig in better Slough Tuesday showed that against a better team. One thing struck me though that when Tom scored he just turned away smiling and made his way back to our half, he didn't make a big fuss celebrating (unfortunately) Looks even more relaxed than Jonah was.

The two substitutions made by Jem put us under unnecessary pressure and we lost the momentum. Jem took David Jerrard and Neil Msrtin off and on went Mario Mateus and Ollie Bassett. Tom Blair was switched to the left wing and Mario played on the right. Tom was troubling Barnstaple's left back and where as Mario struggled against said left back.
One observation about Mario in recent matches is that the bench are constantly shouting to him where to stand and where to position himself.
Really impressed with Ollie Bassett, very tidy player with a good touch and pass. Took his goal really well too.
