YOU GUYS MAKE ME LAUGH, go back and check again if it means so much too you, the answer is there. i started twice for first team in aranged match never said leaugh then booted out, went too sheff utd. and had too accept i was not good enough for leaugh football.and thats that. I cant make saturdays game so i might watch the lads train ,but i will be at most games for rest of season. i dont think i will comment on site any more. most of you guys come across as nice guys who love football and want the best for dorchester town, as i do, but there are a couple that are trouble makers, that no nothing about football, just stir things up,just my view, i was reading through other posts in my view, tom blair is never going too make leauge football, just not good enough, not being harsh we are never going too sell tom on, i feel he has found reached the standard he will play in, and we have some players in our team that should be playing at a lower standard. right guys i am off. come on magpies lets start our season on saturday, go on a unbeaton run. Birdman, most of us are all friends who know each other and speak to one another face-to-face quite happily. What you take as "trouble makers" who "just stir things up" is in reality friends just joking around all quite unseriously. That said, it was yourself who started questioning the validity of people's opinions based on nothing more than "whether they played the game or not". Therefore it's only natural that people will be more inquisitive to your own background, given that you took such superior attitude to other people's opinions.

I played for Weymouth for five years and Dorchester for three and a half years under Ronnie Boulton and good times under Dave Best .Every thing Birdman is saying speaks for most guys that have played a bit.Its all about what you can afford really. At the moment to many for Dorchester look like rabbits in the headlights.A good spine to the team is essential,Keeper, center half, and striker.build a solid defense be hard to beat.I watch from afar both teams progress.A new manager needs to be local within a few hours of the ground command respect and has good contacts to bring a couple of good solid characters in.

Sumacite, for someone who says they look from afar, you certainly seem to have a lot to say about the muff on their forum, yet unless you post on here under another name, have feck all to say about Dorchester until today?
Yes I admit I had to pox my laptop delving into your history as I was wondering if you were Chancy 😱

Tom ....it was a long time ago I was at Dorchester the info I gave you should tell you that!.All the people I used to know there are long gone. Pete Aiken,Albert Miller, Lional Basscombe,Pete Peavoy....good guys from times at the old avenue.Of course I'm based in Weymouth but have good memories of Dorchester with some very good players. No wish to see either teams slide into bad times. So wind your neck in mate I'm not a troll trying to stir things up lol.Just a genuine interest in the progress of both clubs.

What happened to SouthernLeagueWatcher too? He seemed to disappear as soon as Laird was sacked.

The Echo comments on Steve Thompson’s view of last night’s game are hilarious..
Couldn’t make it up.. Asian businessmen - the lot.

Some people are drinking too much scrumpy methinks.
It’s funny to read though!!
I’m pretty sure that there’s no semblance of truth in what Rex B says - our structure doesn’t really allow for the investment that’s being rumoured.
